Services

More than an agency. We build the right hive for your business.

What people bring us

Nobody arrives asking for eighty-four services. You arrive with a situation. These are the six we are brought most often - and the practices each one usually needs. But they’re just suggestions. You’re welcome to write your own. We’re game.

You’ve built the thing - or are en route - and nobody knows yet. The prize is not visibility, it’s relevance: being desired, the “where have you been all my life, we’ve been waiting” kind. The risk is being described by someone else first, and not as well: a competitor’s framing, a journalist’s shorthand, a category label that makes you sound like a smaller version of an incumbent. We set the name, the look, the story and the press together, before launch rather than after. A launch narrative you have to correct later costs more than the one you chose on purpose.

Usually: Strategy · Identity · Story · Reputation

You are not competing inside an existing market - you are arguing that a different one exists. Every buyer, analyst and journalist will reach for the nearest familiar box unless you hand them a better one. Naming it is the easy part. Making it believable takes a defensible thesis, language that travels, third parties willing to repeat it, and customers behaving as though the category is already real.

Usually: Strategy · Story · Reputation · Demand

There is equity in what exists: customers who chose you for a reason, recognition you’ve paid for and earned over the years. Repositioning sometimes carelessly spends it all, in exchange for novelty. Our first job is working out what is load-bearing and what is merely old - then the strategy, the identity and the language change together, so the market reads a company that’s renewed itself rather than one that panicked.

Usually: Strategy · Identity · Story

Translated brands sound translated. The words are right but something is off: an idiom that doesn’t land, a proof point nobody there finds impressive, a tone that reads as confident at home and arrogant abroad. We work out what has to change and what must not - the answer is never everything and never nothing - then rebuild for how that market actually lives and breathes. We work in English, Russian, French, Spanish and lots of other languages directly - and live in those places - so none are mere translations of the others.

Usually: Strategy · Identity · Story · Demand

Everything here has a date on it, and the audience is unusually literate. Investors, analysts and journalists read a lot of these, and they can tell a company with a business from a company with a deck. You need the story your numbers support, an executive who makes the room believe it (because they believe it themselves), and press and analyst groundwork already buzzing before the round or listing arrives. A reputation assembled during the raise reads as marketing. One that was already there reads as fact.

Usually: Strategy · Story · Reputation

Not a campaign. A room, a stage, an installation, an object at a scale that makes people rearrange their week (or year) to be there. And it changes their life. Lots of risk sits in the second half: rights, permits, insurance, fabrication, safety, a crew, a budget that holds, and an afterlife once the doors close. Which is why we’re in the room with you from the first conversation, rather than brought in for the rescue (though we’ve saved a few, and would again).

You bring a situation, and we gather the right swarm around it from the Kollektiv - helping you uncover the angles and create the original content and stories that resonate with people, spark trends, and change the world. Apart from the queen bee (your project lead), there is no hierarchy: everyone is senior, everyone is a worker bee, engaged from first forage to final honey.
